At present the grammar describes the following types of constructions and phenomena:
declarative, interrogative (yes-no interrogatives, but also wh-interrogatives and tag-questions), and imperative sentences. Exclamatory sentences are yet to be included)
active and passive constructions
clauses with unmarked and marked word order, incl. subject-verb inversion, clefting, existential there, extraposition of the subject or the direct object, preposing (fronting) of the direct object and subject complement
apposition, juxtaposition, coordination, and subordination
As yet the grammar does not describe raising constructions nor correlative coordination. The description of extraposition needs further attention.
