While developing the grammar, part of the Leipzig text corpus is being used for testing purposes. In the process, for a growing subset of sentences it is established which analysis is considered the gold standard one. This makes it possible to evaluate the results of different versions of the parser. In future we intend to make the entire set of gold standard parses available. For the time being we include only some examples here that should illustrate the kind of analyses that the PELICAN is able to provide for different types of structure.

For an explanation of the abbreviations used, see under descriptive units.

Various examples will be available here shortly.
